At Scerbo Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation we provide individual performance enhancement training for both post-surgical and non-surgical patients medically cleared for physical activity and progression.

Functional assessment testing will help design short and progressive programs for multiple sport disciplines from basketball and baseball to running and tennis. We will work on muscle and joint flexibility to improve your active range of motion and help prevent re-injury.

At Scerbo we have the knowledge and credentials to create individualized programs tailored to each athlete based on their age, fitness level, and goals. The Performance Enhancement Specialist can help improve the strength, speed, agility and coordination for professional and amateur athletes.

The Performance Enhancement Training program is led by Angel Montanez, ATC. Angel is a certified athletic trainer with over 14 years of experience at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. He is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His training experience extends from preadolescents to competitive athletes to seniors. He is a member of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of NJ and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He is licensed in the state of New Jersey and the state of New York. Angel works with individuals of varied health and fitness needs, providing programming and strategies for maintaining fitness goals.
