Maddie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. During her time at UVM, she was a member of the Division I Women’s Field Hockey team and earned NFHCA National Academic Squad honors. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University.
As a competitive athlete, Maddie experienced her own injuries and witnessed many of her teammates navigate the rehabilitation process. Through these experiences, she developed a deeper appreciation for the impact physical therapy can have on recovery and performance, ultimately inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others return to the activities they love.
During her graduate studies, Maddie gained experience in both outpatient and acute care settings, working with a wide range of patient populations. Her background includes treating individuals with Parkinson’s disease, the geriatric population, and active individuals working to return to their hobbies and daily activities. She has a particular interest in treating sports-related injuries and guiding patients through each stage of their rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Maddie enjoys staying active through running and hiking and appreciates any opportunity to spend time outdoors. She also enjoys exploring local restaurants and coffee shops and trying new places in the area. She enjoys traveling whether on short weekend getaways or international trips to explore new cities. In her free time, she values spending time with family and friends and maintaining a balanced, active lifestyle.
