Dr. Kelly Wieczerzak, PT, DPT

Kelly completed her undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey, receiving her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. During her time at TCNJ, she was a captain of the Women’s Soccer team and earned All-American honors in both athletics and academics, and was later inducted into the Blue & Gold Hall of Fame for Leadership. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University.

Biography

Growing up playing competitive soccer and basketball, Kelly became interested in a career in physical therapy after receiving PT for her own sports related injuries. She realized how impactful the profession was in her return to the activities she loved. Kelly has always had a passion for helping people accomplish their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle, which motivated her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

During her graduate studies, Kelly gained valuable experience in various clinical settings. She enjoys working with all populations, but has a special interest in treating sports-related injuries, post-operative cases, and pediatrics.

Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys staying active and continues to play in an adult soccer league. She is also a coach for her alma mater, Wayne Valley Girls Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to the beach, and exploring new dog parks and dog-friendly coffee shops with her dog, Bubbles!

Kessler Rehabilitation Center – Outpatient
• Examined and evaluated a wide variety of populations ranging from infants and pediatrics to geriatrics with widespread conditions including pre-and-post-operative orthopedic cases, Cerebral palsy, stroke, Guillan-Barre, cancer, musculoskeletal pain, and sports injuries. Designed a return-to-sport protocol for surgical repair of patellar fracture with internal fixation.

Montville Physical Therapy
Examined and evaluated a diverse patient population with a primary focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Had the opportunity to develop a post-COVID recovery protocol using vital sign monitoring, EKG monitoring, and spirometry assessment with treadmill training.

JDT Medical Rehab Center – Inpatient
• Completed chart review, evaluated, and treated patients admitted to the sub-acute facility with a primary focus on cardiopulmonary and neurological conditions.

Holsman Physical Therapy
• Evaluated and treated patients of a primarily geriatric population with a wide variety of conditions ranging from deconditioning, balance deficits, and post-op joint replacements.
